NC Navy-Marine Corps MARS Emergency Communication Information

The information and links below direct members to Navy MARS ECOM resources with which each member should be familiar in case of an emergency communications activation.

There are a myriad of directives, messages, tips, and "corporate knowledge" in Navy MARS about handling emergency communications. It is sometimes difficult, especially for a new member, to figure out where to find all the things they need to know at short notice. This page is our attempt to collect together links and documents every member should have available. If you don't see something you think should be available, please contact NNN0GBL5 with your information to update the page.

We recommend that you download all of the documents and place them in a "MARS Emergency Communications" notebook you then keep near at hand at your operating position. In order for them to be MOST useful, you must read and familiarized yourself with these documents. Merely putting them in a notebook will not help your understanding or familiarity in an emergency situation.
